Corrections & Update Policy

Corrections & Update Policy

Nutritional science is not static; it is an ever-evolving field. As new epidemiological studies are published and global dietary guidelines shift, what was considered scientific consensus yesterday may change tomorrow. At eNutritionFacts.com, we are committed to accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Routine Content Audits

Our editorial team conducts routine, scheduled audits of our core pillar content. We regularly update our database to reflect the newest releases from the USDA FoodData Central and the latest peer-reviewed clinical trials. When an article is materially updated with new science, we change the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page so our readers know the information is current.

Reporting Factual Errors

Despite our rigorous Expert Review Policy, errors can occasionally occur. We welcome feedback from our readers, the scientific community, and medical professionals.

If you believe you have found a factual inaccuracy, an outdated citation, or a data calculation error, please contact us immediately at: editor@enutritionfacts.com.

Please include:

  • The URL of the article in question.
  • The specific text or data point you are challenging.
  • A link to a peer-reviewed source or government database that supports your correction.

Our Correction Process

Once a potential error is reported:

  1. Our Chief Editor will log the query and temporarily flag the article for internal review.
  2. The query will be assigned to a credentialed member of our Medical & Scientific Review Board for independent verification.
  3. If an error is confirmed, we will immediately amend the text or data.
  4. For significant clinical corrections, we will append an “Editor’s Note” to the bottom of the article, detailing what was changed and when, ensuring absolute transparency with our readers.
